Contra Costa, an annual, free, volunteer based tax filing assistance program that helps low-income workers (making under $58,000 per year) claim all of the federal tax benefits due to them including the Earned Income Tax Credit, the most effective anti-poverty measure in the country.
Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Contra Costa generates important and immediate benefits by returning dollars to low-income families who otherwise can be subject to expensive, inaccurate tax preparation services.
